Bridgetown Films, formerly Anthem Films and Anthem Film Works, is a production and post group based in the Portland, Oregon area.
Anthem Films was known for its offbeat short comedy projects, as can be witnessed by watching “Eating Disorder” or “It’s a Black Thang,” both of which received Editor’s Pick honors at OpenFilm.com.
In late 2010, the Anthem Films name was sold and the group became known as Bridgetown Films. “Bridgetown” is a common nickname for the city of Portland, Oregon.
While Bridgetown’s comedy roots from the Anthem Films era will continue, the group plans to expand into other genres and will integrate more visual effects work into future projects as well.
Bridgetown Films uses JVC video cameras and Canon DSLRs.
